Policies and Forms Nativity Early Learning Center is a peanut and nut free program. This change has been made due to the increasing number of children that are allergic to peanuts, nuts, and peanut oil. Nut allergies can be life threatening. This is not only through direct ingestion, but can be through the smell or touching of only trace amounts. We require that you do not send any snacks, birthday treats, or lunches, which contain peanuts or nuts. We request your cooperation and thank you in advance for adhering to this policy for the safety of all children.
We understand that this policy may pose an inconvenience for our school community; however, we ask for your full cooperation as we work to provide a safe environment for our students.
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDA) hosts an innovative and interactive website for parents. The ParentsKnow website provides resources on child development, parent education, child care and consumer safety information and includes links to MDA and other trusted websites. www.MNParentsKnow.info Help Me Grow Ramsey County Information Help Me Grow Ramsey County (formerly known as Early Childhood Information and Referral of Ramsey County) is the “central intake” office for children age birth-5 when there is a concern regarding their development. Once your child is referred to our office a determination will be made for further evaluation by the appropriate school district. The early intervention evaluation team will assess your child as necessary to determine eligibility for early intervention services. www.helpmegrowramseyco.org All forms are published in an Adobe PDF File.
