Giving Opportunities 

•  Gifts of Cash

Gifts of Cash are a popular and convenient way to give to the campaign.   Cash gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.   Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) is an available option for the payment of your campaign commitment.

 

•  Gifts of Bonds and Securities

Gifts of bonds and securities, especially appreciated stock, offer you two tax-smart advantages - a charitable income tax deduction, and in most cases, an elimination or reduction of the capital gains tax.   We recommend that you consult your financial planner or tax advisor before making a gift of bonds or securities.   For more information on contributing securities, whether by electronic (wire) transfer or delivery of actual certificates, please contact Mary Super, Legacy Gift Manager, at (651)696-5441.

•  Corporate Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gifts are a great way to maximize contributions to the campaign and increase the impact of your gift.   You may be able to double or even triple the amount of your gift.   Each company has its own guidelines, so please call your human resources office to see if your employer has a matching gifts program.  

 

Most corporate procedures are very simple:

1.      Request a Matching Form from your company.

2.      Complete and submit the form to the Nativity along with your gift.              

3.      Nativity will verify the completed form and return it to the company.

4.      The company issues a matching gift contribution to Nativity.

 

•  Planned Gifts
