Dcn. Don Tienter, the Deacon to St. Vincent de Paul at Nativity of Our Lord, is preaching at Lord’s Day Masses this weekend (March 16-17, 2024) and a second collection will be taken up at each Mass to support the mission of SVdP here at Nativity. Checks can be made to St. Vincent de Paul, Nativity Conference.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVDP) is an international organization of lay men and women who are committed to live and grow their Christian faith through prayer and person-to-person service to those in need. The Nativity of Our Lord Conference (chapter) of the Society of SVDP began in January of last year with an intention to support the poor in our parish and in our community through home visits and direct financial assistance.
Every year on Good Friday, a collection is taken up in Catholic churches to support the work of the Franciscans working in the Holy Land. Christians there rely heavily on the help that comes to them during this special day in the Church and our life of faith.
Retirement Fund for Religious | December 10-11, 2022
Thousands of senior sisters, brothers, and religious priests have spent years working in Catholic schools and organizations, often for low wages. Their sacrifices leave their religious communities without adequate savings for retirement and eldercare.
Nativity of Our Lord is encouraging donations December 10-11, 2022 to help provide prescription medications, nursing care, and more.
Checks can be made payable to the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and dropped off at Mass (in the box at the main doors) or at the parish office. You can also donate online through the Diocese of Buffalo by using the link below.
Please give to those who have given a lifetime!
The Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) provides funding for groups that make lasting change and uplift the poor in the United States. CCHD’s grants improve education, support economic development, and create affordable housing in low-income neighborhoods. Help us continue to defend human dignity and build communities of solidarity.
You can contribute by bringing an earmarked donation to the parish office or Mass on November 19-20, 2022, or by clicking the link below to donate online. Checks can be made out to the "Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis." Thank you!

Donate Online to Byrne Renovation
The Leo C. Byrne Residence offers 29 individual apartments for priests who have reached retirement age, most of whom continue to actively serve parishes and organizations around the Archdiocese.
The GRATITUDE Capital Campaign Renovation Project, coordinated by the Catholic Community Foundation, will fund work required to bring the entire Byrne Residence to a level of security and efficiency suitable for the safety and well-being of each resident priest. We’ll take up a 2nd Collection this weekend in support of this much-needed renovation. Checks should be made payable to CCF/Byrne Residence. You can also donate online at ccf-mn.org/ByrneResidence.
Please be as generous as you are able. Thank you!
On March 26-27, 2022 we celebrate Global Solidarity Sunday in our Archdiocese with the theme, "Taste and see the goodness of the Lord" (Psalm 34).
This theme is an invitation to reach out in solidarity to share God's love, mercy and healing with our brothers and sisters around the world by offering support during Lent.
This is especially needed at this time in Central and Eastern Europe. A special Lenten collection will be taken for four global priorities of the U.S. Catholic Bishops: Africa, Latin America, and Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the humanitarian activities of Catholic Relief Services.
Please be as generous as you are able and share God’s love for your brothers and sisters around the world through Lenten almsgiving. Thank you!
We are asking for donations to the Mission Doctors Association as part of the 2020 Missionary Cooperative Plan through the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. Catholic doctors and their families have answered the call to share their skills and faith through MDA since 1959, providing direct patient care and training for local healthcare professionals in Africa in Latin America.
