Last weekend, I announced at the Nativity of Our Lord Night to Shine Spring Gala (as well as at each of the Lord’s Day Masses) that Archbishop Hebda has named Fr. Rolf Tollefson as my successor as pastor of Nativity of Our Lord, effective July 1.
Eucharistic Ministers are no longer required to wear masks when distributing Communion. The priest celebrant will continue to wear a mask during Communion.
In April, One Nativity 2035 synthesized its work and identified three key areas of opportunity for increased growth and progress at Nativity of Our Lord: faith, leadership, and volunteers.
With input and ideas from more than 150 parishioners and staff, the One Nativity team has been working to clarify a practical three- to five-year vision and plan for living out our mission statement.
One Nativity 2035 is a collaboration of the clergy, parishioners, and staff of Nativity of Our Lord to identify and recommend ways to better communicate, bolster, and sustain our parish mission in service of this vibrant Catholic community — today and well into the future.
Fr. Patrick Hipwell recently hosted the fifth annual Nativity leadership meeting, which provides an opportunity to become familiar with those representing the parish on Nativity boards for the 2018-19 year.
