Have fun meeting and working with new friends, and singing the great music of the Church every four or five weeks at the Saturday 5pm Mass. Any boy or girl from 3rd-8th grade may join.
Eucharistic Ministers are no longer required to wear masks when distributing Communion. The priest celebrant will continue to wear a mask during Communion.
For the past 53 years, Steve Rosenberg has served Nativity of Our Lord in a multitude of diverse roles, primarily as the organist for the Saturday 5pm Mass. Steve has made the difficult decision to retire and he will be missed tremendously.
Important additions — and subtractions — to the liturgy here at Nativity of Our Lord during Lent seek to help us enter more deeply into this time of fasting, abstinence, and conversion to Christ.
The 5pm Mass will re-open to the public and Communion returns to its normal time during Mass (on a trial basis), both beginning Saturday, September 26. Plus, the Nativity Choir plans a return.
Over the course of the next six weeks in Lent (and Easter), the Nativity Choir will be preforming the entire Requiem by English composer John Rutter during the 11am Mass.
